I know what it’s like to feel the weight of uncertainty and to have more month than money. After building a successful six-figure career, I was laid off while pregnant. As I navigated interviews, the further along I got, the more visible my growing belly became. And let’s be honest people weren’t exactly lining up to hire a soon-to-be mom.

That’s when it hit me: if I didn’t have a second stream of income, I’d always be vulnerable. They say you need at least a year of your salary saved, but most of us don’t have that kind of cushion. I had to figure it out. Fast!

Instead of scrambling, I took a step back and identified the skills I naturally thrived in. I tapped into what I was already good at and found a way to monetize it. COACHING! That shift not only closed my financial gap but also gave me a sense of control over my future. 

And now? I’m still in corporate because I love what I do, but I’m no longer dependent on one paycheck. I've actually created multiple streams of income for my family.
