Manifest Your Best Morning: 6 Habits That Will Transform Your Life Before 8AM

I used to wake up feeling behind before the day even started. My alarm would go off, and I was already thinking about emails, deadlines, kids, and everything in between. By the time I got to my desk to start work, I felt drained and like I was playing catch-up.

That was me before I discovered The Miracle Morning. AKA: SAVERS: Silence, Affirmations, Visualization, Exercise, Reading, and Scribing. 6 Habits that will change your life.

At first, I thought, “Who has time for that?” But back in 2018, I decided to test it for 30 days. And what happened was life-changing… once I learned to make it work for me.

I didn’t wake up and magically add a full extra hour to my day. Instead, I shortened some parts, combined others, and gave myself permission to adapt. That’s when the routine stuck.

The Hidden Struggle We Don’t Talk About Enough

So many women I work with feel stuck in constant motion but never fully present or productive. You’re doing all the things, but your day feels scattered.

You have the skills, the drive, the potential, but without intentional mornings, your energy gets burned out before you even start.

How I Shifted My Day

Here’s how I use SAVERS to set my mornings and create space for my business, career, and family:

Silence
I started small, just 5 to 7 minutes. Sometimes meditation, sometimes prayer, sometimes deep breathing. That little pause grounded me before stepping into the chaos of the day.

Affirmations
Instead of repeating them in my head, I recorded mine in a voice note and played them back while I got ready. I tied them to my yearly goals. For example: “I am capable of creating additional income without burnout. People are looking for what I have to offer.” Hearing my own voice made it hit differently.

Visualization
I kept this simple. Sometimes I pictured the exact goal I was chasing. Other times, I looked at my vision board. Over the years, it’s lived on my phone lock screen, on a poster behind my door, even on an 8x11 sheet of paper in my “morning basket.” The key was seeing it daily. And honestly? So much of what I’ve visualized has come to pass.

Exercise
In the beginning, 30 minutes felt impossible. So I started with 7-minute YouTube workouts. Later, I added 20-minute Peloton rides. The point wasn’t the length—it was about moving my body and kickstarting my energy.

Reading
I rarely had time to sit with a book, so I leaned on audiobooks. Yes, they’re a little pricier, but I’d play them while doing my makeup or in the shower. It felt like investing in myself first thing in the morning—whether through inspiration, new skills, or fresh ideas.

Scribing
This took two forms for me. First, my devotional, Believe Bigger, which includes scripture, a reflection, and space to journal. Second, my planner. Writing down my top three priorities, sketching out my schedule, and clearing my mental clutter set my day in motion with clarity.

Altogether, this routine usually takes me 30–45 minutes depending on the workout, and it completely shifted how I showed up in my life.

What Changed

When my mornings became intentional, my days flowed with clarity and ease.

I stopped operating in reaction mode. I gained energy, focus, and confidence. And I finally had the bandwidth to grow my coaching business while excelling in my career and being present with my family.
